The Village of Lockland is closely monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic in coordination with Hamilton County Public Health, State of Ohio and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. As a local government organization, our top priority is to protect the health and safety of this community. We have taken significant action to our protocols to limit the exposure and spread of the virus. We will continue our dedication to providing essential services through the evolving health emergency.
The following changes will be in place:
Effective at the close of business today, March 16, 2020, the Village Administrative offices will be closed to the public. The office staff will continue to report to work and will be available to answer questions by phone or email and additionally take payments via phone. We encourage residents to call or email with questions and drop their water bills in the payment box located outside of the main entrance to Town Hall. If you would like a receipt, please indicate on your payment and we will be happy to mail you a receipt. Our Village staff is small and interacts with each other on a daily basis, it is imperative to keep our essential staff and safety service personnel healthy in order to continue to provide services to our residents.
Police and Fire have suspended all non-critical community contact until further notice. They will, of course respond to emergencies as usual.
Public Works has suspended all non-essential community contact until further notice. No entry into private property or commercial property unless of course in the case of emergency.
All spring sports will be suspended until April 14, 2020.
All Recreation Hall and Park Rentals have been suspended until further notice.
Mayors Court has been suspended until April 1st.
